Before you learn about campaigns, it's recommended that you start by reviewing our Concepts & Terminology doc, which provides definitions for terms that we'll use in this article.

As a refresher, here's an explanation of campaigns in our marketplace:

Campaign Definition

A campaign is a listing on the Glencoco Marketplace accessible to users. Campaigns are created by companies using Glencoco. There may be multiple campaigns per company.

For example, a company called Threecolts might have 3 different campaigns:

  1. Onsite

  2. Dimetyd

  3. HemiOs

with each campaign representing a different offer, product or service provided by Threecolts.

Each campaign is unique and every campaign will include the following:

  • A price, or bounty, to be paid out per qualified meeting generated

  • A set of qualification criteria that outlines what is considered a qualified meeting

  • A sales training and enablement module that includes the following topics that a user must review before submitting an audition for the campaign to be accepted and begin working on the campaign.

    • Company Overview

    • Product Overview

    • ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)

    • Competitor Landscape

    • Qualification Criteria

    • Objection Handling

    • Call Script

    • Industry Overview (sometimes)

    • Customer Case Studies (sometimes)

    • Fireside Chat Recordings (sometimes)

  • A pool of leads that have been curated by the company relevant to the campaign for a user to reach out to

Once a user has been approved for a campaign, their objective is to reach out to the pool of leads, solicit interest in the product or services offered leveraging the training module provided, disqualify ineligible leads, and schedule meetings between a qualified prospect and a sales representative (Account Executive) at the company.

A Refresher on How to Earn Money via Campaigns

As a refresher, which is also provided in the Primary Way to Earn Money on Glencoco section, below is the complete process to start working on a campaign and earn money:

  1. Discover and browse campaigns in our marketplace. If you've successfully created an account in Glencoco and set up your profile, you can discover and browse campaigns available to you by going to your dashboard and clicking the campaigns tab and choose "Discover Campaigns", for campaigns you haven't enrolled in, or "My Campaigns", for campaigns you've already been accepted for or enrolled in. You can also open a chat window and select "Explore Campaigns" for more detailed breakdowns of campaigns and statistics.

  2. Complete a training module for a campaign. (~2 hours)

  3. Submit an audio audition for the campaign (~30 minutes)

  4. Get accepted to a campaign (~within 48 hours)

  5. Get automatically assigned leads for a campaign that you see in your list view:

  6. Reach out to these leads during business hours via phone and email using our dialing and emailing system on our app

  7. Book any meetings with interested prospects by scheduling a calendar time using our calendar scheduling system on our app

  8. Remind the prospect about the upcoming meeting the day of the minimize no-shows

  9. Once the Account Executive on the campaign verifies that the meeting was held and qualified and updates the sytem accordingly, we process out a payout that reflects the price per qualified meeting for the campaign.

  10. This payout is triggered automatically and lands in your bank account with 2-3 business days.

You can repeat this over and over again on a campaign, and you can also follow this process for multiple campaigns.

In the next sections, we'll go through steps 1 through 4 in more detail. For steps 5 through 9, you'll find a detailed overview in our Lists and Prospecting Collection.

Discover and Browse Campaigns in our Marketplace

There are two ways to discover and browse campaigns on Glencoco.

The first way is to open a chat window and choose the "Explore Campaigns" option, which will provide you with more detailed real-time statistics about the campaign.

The second way is from your home dashboard: click the campaigns tab and select "Discover Campaigns".

This will show you all campaigns that you haven't enrolled in yet and started training for yet. When browsing campaigns in the "Discover Campaigns" section, you can click into any of them to read a brief blurb about their qualification criteria, price per meeting, statistics, and whether you're interested in the campaign.

The Difference Between "Discover Campaigns" and "My Campaigns"

To start working on a campaign you find in the "Discover Campaigns" section, you need to click the black "Start Training" button to begin going through the campaign's sales enablement training module. Once you click "Start Training", the campaign will no longer appear in "Discover Campaigns", and will instead appear in the "My Campaigns" section under the Campaigns tab. "My Campaigns" shows you all the campaigns you're either currently in training for, have completed training and submitted an audition for, or have been approved for.

Complete a Training Module for a Campaign

After you've decided on a campaign you want to work on, and clicked the black "Start Training" button, you'll be taken to a training module that looks like the below image.

You'll want to go through each section of the training module thoroughly, which consists of text, sometimes audio, sometimes video, sometimes slides, and take notes. Treat it just like you're starting at a new company as a sales rep and don't just breeze through it, because otherwise you'll fail your audition after completing the training module.

Training modules, if studied right, should take anywhere from 2-4 hours to really internalize and become familiar with. Pay close attention to the ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)/ Buyer Persona section, Qualification Criteria section, Objection Handling section, and the Cold Call Script sections. After you complete training, you'll see a modal pop up that has the following instructions:

"Congrats on completing the [Campaign Name] training! Now you're ready to submit an audition to get certified

The Process

The campaign audition and certification will require a quick audio intro recorded by you as well as a few role-play scenarios that require you to record and submit an audio response as if you were conducting a live call.

Once this 10 minute assessment is completed, you will hear back regarding your qualification status on average within 48 hrs of the submission.

What You'll Do

  • Record an introduction and share your background

  • Roleplay scenario

  • Answer common objections for this campaign"

Submit an Audio Audition for the Campaign

When you click the black "Start Audition" button after you've completed a training module, you'll be taken to an audio recording section where you'll answer a few questions based on the training module content.

Make sure you've tested your microphone in your browser so that you can record audio for the audio submission.

Typically, there are anywhere from 5-6 questions. Once you're happy with your submission, you can submit an audition and wait to hear back.

You'll receive a notification via email and/or text with one of 3 outcomes:

  • Approved (which means you've been approved for the campaign and you can start prospecting into lists that will be assigned to you)

  • Retry (which means you're being asked to resubmit an audition

  • Rejected (which means you're not a fit for the campaign at the time)

For a full overview about the audition process, we have a separate Campaign Auditions (and what happens if you don't work on campaigns you've been approved for) doc that you can review about how auditions work.

After Being Approved for a Campaign

You'll want to check out 2 sections that you'll now have access to:

  1. Your Leads tab, which will now have a list of leads from that campaign assigned to you. For an overview of how to use our dialing and emailing platform and how lead lists are assigned, check out those collections in our help center.

  2. The campaign's Sales Floor, which is like a subreddit forum where you can post questions or comments and share context with other folks working on the campaign, as well communicate with Account Executives and Campaign Managers at the company for the campaign. Check out this Campaign Sales Floor doc to learn more about campaign sales floors and their purpose.

Approvals for campaigns are not permanent! If you do not start working on a campaign after 3 weeks of being approved, you'll need to resubmit an audition.

Frequently Asked Questions About Campaigns

Question: Can I work for multiple campaigns?

Answer: Yes, you can work for any number of campaigns you're approved for, and there are no limits to how many campaigns you can submit an audition for. However, realistically, it's best to focus on 2-3 campaigns at a time - otherwise, you won't be able to properly ramp up on the pitch and get a feel for the perfect outbound motion and will be less successful. Someone working on 10 campaigns will earn less money than someone focusing on 2-3 campaigns

Question: Do I have access to all campaigns on the Glencoco marketplace?

Answer: Not necessarily. Some campaigns may occasionally turn off visibility for new users if there aren't enough leads in the campaign. Campaigns are also bucketed into different Tiers in the background. Tier 1 campaigns are typically only visible to users with either significant B2B sales development experience, or previous industry experience. Tier 2 and Tier 3 campaigns are generally more visible to anyone. Users are also bucketed into different tiers based on their statistics and performance on campaigns, with top performers being granted access to higher tier campaigns. To move up in tiers if you don't have pre-requisite previous sales experience, you'll simply need to perform well on campaigns you currently have access to, which will unlock additional tiers of campaigns. For more information about our campaign tiering system, check out this Concepts & Terminology (intermediate) doc: https://help.glencoco.com/en/articles/10296492-concepts-terminology-intermediate

Question: How long does it take to find out if I've been approved for a campaign?

Answer: After you submit your audition, it typically takes anywhere from same day to 48 hours to find out if you've been approved for a campaign. For more information about the audition process, check out this Campaign Auditions doc: https://help.glencoco.com/en/articles/10242244-campaign-auditions-and-what-happens-if-you-don-t-work-on-campaigns-you-ve-been-approved-for

Question: What are the working hours for campaigns?

Answer: You can set your own hours. Most campaigns are open for prospecting between 8am EST to 7pm PST on weekdays. When you're assigned leads after being approved for campaigns, you'll be able to see the prospect's time zone in the lead list view so you can strategize on your outreach schedule based on that. The more time you spend on our platform, the more leads we assign you. The less time you spend on our platform, the less leads we assign you.

Question: Are there any campaigns I can work for on weekends?

Answer: Yes, some campaigns are available on weekends. You can explore stats and data about various campaigns in our "Explore Campaigns" option in our chat window.

Question: What are the best times of day or days of the week to work on campaigns?

Answer: The data doesn't really show any statistically significant times.

Question: How do I communicate with someone at the company for the campaign I'm working on?

Answer: If you're approved for a campaign, you'll be able to use campaign sales floors and also directly chat and message with Account Executives about leads in the list view. You can also email them directly. For a full overview of campaign communication channels, check out this Communication Channels with Campaign Counterparts doc: https://help.glencoco.com/en/articles/10298645-communication-channels-with-campaign-counterparts

Question: Can you recommend me some campaigns I would be a good fit for?

Answer: If you open a chat window and select "Explore Campaigns", we'll provide you with some real-time statistics about campaigns so that you can make your decision about which campaign(s) you want to work on.
