While lead lists are provided on campaigns you're approved for, sometimes it may make sense for you to build your own lead list and add them to the campaign so you can work them.
You can do this in one of two ways:
Add a one-off lead
Bulk import a list of leads from a csv file into the campaign
A common question gets brought up at this point so we'll address it here: "If I source my own leads, do they belong to me or can other people see them?"
Answer: If you upload your own leads, they are yours to work and yours alone.
We don't reassign them to other folks the way we do with leads provided in the campaigns (you can read more about how lead assignments work here), with the following exceptions:
The company running the campaign has added the company to a do-not-call list in our platform (in this case, the platform will prevent that lead from being imported)
The lead you're trying to upload has already been disqualified or requested do-not call (in this case, the platform will prevent that lead from being imported)
Someone else active on the campaign is already working the lead (in this case, the platform will prevent that lead from being imported)
If you bulk import a list of leads (instructions on this below), you'll be able to see the drop-off if any of your leads match the above 3 scenarios, while leads that don't match the above scenarios will successfully be imported.
How to Add a one-off lead
To add a one-off lead or bulk import a list of leads from a csv file, you start at the same place:
You'll know you're at the right place if you see the leads tab at the top of your window highlighted. From here, look for a black button called "Add Lead" lower down on the right of your window.
When you click this button, you'll see two options:
"New Lead" (this is how you add a one-off lead)
"Import Leads" (this is how you bulk import a list of leads from a csv file into the campaign).
If you choose "New Lead", you'll be expected to specify the campaign you want to add the lead to, as well as the following information about this one-off lead:
Account Name (Prospect's company name)
First Name (required)
Last Name (required)
Title (required)
Phone Number (required)
Mobile Number (optional)
Work Email (required)
Linkedin URL (optional)
You'll also be prompted to choose a list to add the lead to. You can learn more about how lists work here, and you can also learn how to search for leads in our database here.
How to bulk import a list of leads from a csv file into the campaign
After clicking the black "Add lead" button, instead of choosing "New Lead", choose "Import Leads".
A sidebar will open where you can either download a CSV example template, or you can proceed to the next step by clicking the black "Start an import" button on the bottom right of the sidebar:
You'll then be prompted to specify the campaign, upload a CSV file, and then click "Next":
You'll then be prompted to specify a list you want to add these leads to.
You can learn more about how lists work here, and you can also learn how to search for leads in our database here:
At this point, our AI will automatically detect the columns in your CSV to save you time, but we strongly recommend you review the mappings and check your original CSV list before proceeding. A bad lead list import can result in you being unable to easily access or work those leads.
And that's it! You can now work the lead(s) you've added to a campaign and a list.

Question: Does Glencoco provide a searchable database I can use to look for more leads?
Answer: Yes. You can learn how to use that here.
However, keep in mind that this functionality is limited. You can only search for contacts at a company that already exists in your lead lists, and you cannot export these leads as CSV files. You can only use this to search for more contacts at a given company.
Question: Where can I find my own leads outside of Glencoco?
Answer: We recommend LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, Zoominfo, and Cognism. But there are hundreds of different tools you can purchase subscriptions for to build lead lists.
